IET has an extensive track record of distinguishing its customer’s products with real product differentiation based on real innovation. Many of these innovations have merited U.S. and foreign patents.
Analog Circuits
IET has special capabilities with respect to analog circuits in severe electrical interference environments. Circuits that work well in high magnetic field interference environments and require a high degree of signal isolation are a specialty. IET has advanced the art in common mode rejecting analog preamplifier circuits. Three of these analog circuit technologies have earned U.S. patents.
IET has a great deal of experience with high performances analog circuits. IET is especially well equipped for work related to precision sensor and transducer circuits in addition to high performance audio and video circuits. In particular, IET has a great deal of experience with the implementation of high performance analog circuits in severe electrical interference environments, such as those encountered in an automobile.
IET's analog expertise also includes switch mode power supplies. This experience
ranges from simple automotive power supplies for Apple Inc.'s iPod™ to a complex high power phase lock loop controlled ultrasonic
quartz crystal transducer power driver.
Digital Circuits & Digital Communication Protocols
IET has implemented numerous complex micro-controller programs involving simultaneous digital interface protocols with multi-tasking requirements. For example, a low cost circuit with a mix of multiple CAN (Controller Area Network) bus interfaces integrated with two way UART communication functions simultaneously coordinating various analog switch functions were recently developed. All in all, IET has developed over 46 products that incorporated Microchip PIC micro controllers.
IET is also practiced in reverse engineering digital communication protocols in addition to emulating those protocols with low cost micro controllers.
Digital capabilities include complex programmable controller implementations using relay ladder logic control programs implementing PID loops and digital filters in conjunction with analog sensors to control a multitude of motors, heaters, and other devices.
Mixed Analog & Digital Circuits
IET has a great deal of experience in synergistically combining the best features of digital circuits together with high performance analog circuits to achieve low cost and high performance products. Such creative use of mixed analog and digital circuits resulted in a series of ground breaking sensor, transducer, D to A, and A to D patents that are a testament to this capability.
IET also has a great deal of experience with low noise analog circuits in close proximity to digital circuits on the same printed circuit board.
IET also has extensive experience in low cost implementation of interactive remote control systems for a large number of interface products including the Apple, Inc. iPod™ and iPhone™ which involve a mix of high performance audio circuits and digital protocol micro computer circuits on the same PCB.
